Before that I worked at Hewlett-Packard for 15 years working in areas from HP calculator software, to LISP compilers, and UNIX development environments. I also spent a brief period as a private consultant. I generally teach courses in Introduction to Programming, UNIX, Programming Languages, Algorithms, Compilers, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation, and Machine Learning.
