I am currently not seeking new grad students in my lab. I am an associate professor emeritus in Computer Science and have been at the University of Idaho since 1999, retiring in May of 2022. Before that I worked at Hewlett-Packard for 15 years working in areas from HP calculator software, to LISP compilers, and UNIX development environments. I also spent a brief period as a private consultant. I generally teach courses in Introduction to Programming, UNIX, Programming Languages, Algorithms, Compilers, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation, and Machine Learning.
